Project Control Summit 2025 will be held May 6-8 at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston, Texas. The conference theme is ‘Navigating the Future of Project Controls’. Project Control Summit 2025 will offer three Keynote Speakers and tracks.
Keynote Speakers
Shohreh Ghorbani is the founder and technical director of Project Control Academy and Kamran Akbarzadeh is the CEO of the Project Control Academy.
In their keynote, Shohreh and Kamran will offer a Project Controls career roadmap revealing how the Project Controls Academy bridges the education gap in the project controls field by offering project professionals certification upon completion of courses. Shohreh and Kamran will explain how the Project Control Academy offers training, resources, and expert guidance in project controls and leadership, equipping project professionals with interpersonal and leadership skills.
Vikas Jhingran is a Project Manager and organizational leader at Shell. Vikas will present ‘Lead with Clarity: Communication Strategies for Project Professionals’. Based upon his book EMOTE (Using Emotions to Make Your Message Memorable), Vikas will explain how effective communication is the cornerstone of success.

Michael Shore is a Senior Account Executive at Contruent. Michael will present ‘Beyond Technology: How to Lead Your Team Through the Digital Transformation Journey’. Michael will explain that digital transformation in project controls isn’t just about new tools, it’s about how people adapt to them. Michael will offer practical tips for successful digital transformations, from addressing resistance to fostering accountability. Planning and Scheduling
Nate St John, VP at InEight and Aaron Cohnen, Product Director at InEIght, will present ‘Bridging the Gap between Estimating and Scheduling’. Nate and Aron will explain how, in construction project management, time and cost are linked with an impact on one affecting the other, leading to fragmented work and increased project risk.
