Project Challenge Expo 2022 is holding its’ annual conference on September 27th, at the QE II Centre, London. Project Challenge offers delegates the opportunity to look at Projects, Programs, Processes, and Resources within Project Management and caters to all levels of expertise.

Project Challenge Expo 2022 will divide the QE II Centre into open zones where delegates can grab a chair and sit in presentations. The zones will be Master Class/ Solutions, Learning and Professional Development, and Case Studies & Expertise. An Exhibiting Hall will be available as well as Networking opportunities.
Master Class/Solutions
The Master Class/Solutions Zone will offer expert presenters who will discuss the best strategies required for success and the key drivers in project management.
Melanie Franklin is the Founder of Continuous Change Community, and Director of Agile Change Management Ltd. Melanie will present ‘Getting Buy-in for your Project and Change Ideas.’ Success in projects relies on the ability to create enthusiasm, interest, and participation from already busy people. Melanie will demonstrate a range of neuro hacks, explaining how the brain prefers to work, that will help generate the engagement of all stakeholders and ensure that they collaborate. Melanie will also offer all delegates that attend her presentation a quick guide she has written about influencing and persuasion techniques.
Ivan Lloyd is CEO of Edison 365. Ivan will present ‘How can the PMO deliver better outcomes for the business?’ Ivan will discuss that to become successful, projects need to align with business strategy to enable measurable benefits for the organization. Ivan will offer his insights on how the PMO teams are perfectly placed to become strategic enablers. Ivan will also discuss how the gap between the PMO and innovation teams can be closed.
Niraj Mistry is Director of The Anywhere Company. Niraj will present ‘Going Agile helped my business …and messed it up at the same time.’ Niraj will discuss the challenges that organizations struggle with when they transition to Agile. Learning and Professional Development
This Zone will offer coaches and professional development specialists, focusing on training and opportunities for career advancement in Project Management.
Fabian Valente is a Project Management Consultant. Fabian will present ‘Mind Map your WBS to Project Success’. Mind mapping is an effective method used in gathering sessions and the construction of the WBS. Fabian will offer his insights on the benefits of the Mind Mapping theory and why it is useful in communication and planning. Fabian will discuss the mind mapping theory and how the theory can be applied to business analysts and project managers. Fabian will also demonstrate the best practice techniques in mind mapping and how it relates to technology.
Dr. Ian Clarkson is Practice Director at QA Ltd. and an author of the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK) 6. Dr. Ian Clarkson will present ‘What’s in a name?’
Dr. Ian Clarkson will offer his insights on whether a role is called a Sponsor or an Executive, the name should not affect what the role should be. Drawing on his own experience Dr. Ian Clarkson will discuss the key knowledge, skills, and behaviors Sponsors need to perform the role effectively.
Ketan (Ket) Patel is a Change Management Institute Accredited Change Manager Master practitioner.
Olivia Chalmers is a qualified Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Practitioner.
Ket and Olivia will present ‘Embracing conflict – Why leaving the “elephant in the room” can be so damaging to change initiatives.’ Ket and Olivia will offer their insights on the outcome when disagreement and dialogue are avoided. Ket and Olivia will explain that when disagreements are avoided change is affected so that it doesn’t deliver value, leaving the project at risk of failure. Ket and Olivia will offer their insights on how to become more comfortable with potential friction between individuals and teams; so that change is better supported, carries less risk, and has a higher likelihood of being delivered and sustained.

Eileen and Lindsey will present ‘Solving PMO Challenges with PMO Leadership’. PMOs face many challenges ranging from the adoption of delivery frameworks, benefits management, and risk to supporting improvement to delivery capability through an increase in maturity and development. With each challenge, a strong, knowledgeable, and skilled team is required, working together, and moving in the right direction. Each team needs someone to provide that direction, the vision of how and what that PMO will be. Eileen and Lindsay from the House of PMO will offer their insights into PMO Leadership and share the latest Inside PMO Report focused on what leaders in PMO do to meet the challenges of their organizations today.
Case Studies and Expertise Zone
This Zone will offer real-world examples of project implementation from project management experts.

Lloyd will use some ‘what if’ scenario modeling capabilities that will help project managers, PMOs, and Portfolio managers anticipate any resource scenario and make informed decisions. Lloyd will demonstrate the techniques used in Enterprise Resource Planning and the value this has on the business, people, and customers.
Exhibiting Hall and Networking
An exhibiting hall will be available where vendors will demonstrate their software and hardware products, offering hands-on opportunities and advice on best practices.
Networking will be scheduled throughout the day, where delegates can meet up with friends and new acquaintances and discuss the latest trends and help each other to problem solve. Expert presenters will be on hand to answer questions at the end of their track and offer advice.

The staff is attentive and friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. A night’s stay costs £299.
