This years Deltek Insight 17 annual conference is being held on the 23rd-26th October at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center, 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN, 37214.

Using Cobra 8 for Non EVM Programs – Cobra is a versatile tool that is capable of handling non-EVM programs and can be used to implement industry best practices. This presentation focuses on how to utilize cobra for non-EVM programs and allow for them to better manage their cost. Cobra is a tool that can help control scope, schedule and cost. It monitors program performance and provides a control mechanism to better manage a program’s scope, and associated cost.
Integrating Data other than Actual Costs from CostPoint to Cobra – CostPoint is more than just accounting actuals. WBS, OBS, Resources, Charge Codes, are all vital pieces information, which are needed in CostPoint. Instead of manually loading these into Cobra, you can use the Cobra API in conjunction with CostPoint exports to accomplish this automatically. This session will provide the specific details on how to get these two systems to talk to one another and reduce the time analysts spend doing data entry.
Deltek 8.1 Cobra to wInsight xml Process – This session focuses on how the xml data for a performance period is exported from Cobra to wInsight, using a step-by-step guide from Cobra to wInsight Administrator. All process elements and their importance will be detailed.

Parking is very convenient and the staffs are vey professional and friendly. The restaurant comes highly recommended as the food is delicious and the service is excellent. This Holiday Inn Express is located 0.5miles from the Gaylord Center. The hotel room is clean and well maintained, and the beds are comfortable. Each room is equipped with a microwave and kettle.
