A conference many US Earned Value Management practitioners may not be aware of is the upcoming EVM Europe 2013. This years conference will be held in the beautiful city of Ghent in Belgium on December 3-4. It’s the fifth annual conference for EVM Europe which operate under the mission “Where Research Meets Practice” with this years theme begin “Integrated Project Controls”.

The conference theme attempts to tackle the problem that although many projects utilize Earned Value Management, there are still numerous opportunities to improve knowledge, its use and results. As this years theme is “Integrated Project Controls”, we can expect broader range of presentations that are not all focused on Earned Value Management.

This years keynote speakers come from both sides of the pond, Stephan Vandevoorde and Gary Troop who is quite well known here in the USA.

For the two day conference, the following registration fees are charge:
- EVM Members: 350 €
- Non EVM Members: 450 €
- Students: 200 €
There is a networking event organized on the first evening, December 3rd, and costs 100 € to attend.
