Deltek today announced the release of wInsight Analytics 7.0. This release is the next be update to the venerable wInsight product and will become available this month through Deltek’s early release program. Deltek’s early release program for wInsight Analytics 7.0 will be limited to the first 20 customers. However, general availability of this release is expected in Quarter 4, 2013. The good news is, that if you are an existing customer with an active maintenance plan, then you;ll be able enjoy this great upgrade free of charge.
What’s in wInsight Analytics 7.0?
wInsight Analytics 7.0 offers a new interface allowing users a much easier way to discover issues and visualize a projects performance. Some of the new capabilities in wInsight Analytics 7.0 include:
- Explore and discover project performance in a natural and intuitive way
- Know your audit vulnerabilities before finalizing your data
- Uncover emerging trends to avoid surprises and allow early intervention
- Trust your data, with enhanced performance analysis and validation criteria

Data Discovery in wInsight Analytics 7.0
The new associative data model that does not require you to predefine your analysis paths. The data discovery/associative data model platform enables users to explore data, make discoveries and uncover insights into project performance. One example that Deltek uses to describe it’s new associative data model in wInsight Analytics 7.0 is this.
