This years Project Management Symposium, organized by the Washington DC chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), is being held on Friday, September 13, 2013. This one-day event is being hosted at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, Virginia between the hours of 08:00 – 17:00. The Symposium is an annual regional event with more than 500 attendees expected.
This years Project Management Symposium is dedicated to three distinct tracks of learning:
- Agile Project Management
- Project Management in Government
- Professional Development
This is a great opportunity to keep your knowledge and skills current and Project Management Professionals (PMPs) can earn up to 7 PDU credits throughout the day.
The Breakfast Keynote, starting at 8am, will be presented by Jeffrey K. Pinto, Ph.D. He is the lead faculty member for Penn State’s Master of Project Management program. The author or editor of 23 books and over 120 scientific papers that have appeared in a variety of academic and practitioner journals, books, conference proceedings and technical reports.
