Primavera P6 Issue: Cannot set cost because there is no price
When you attempt to enter a labor cost in the Budgeted or Remaining Labor Cost columns, the following message appears: Cannot set cost because there is no price.
This is due to a zero value for the selected project in the ‘Default Price / Unit for activities without resource or role Price / Units’ field in the Calculations tab of the Project view.
If you wish to put a labor cost on an activity without using a resource assignment, you should enter a value in this field. For example, placing a value of $1.00 in this field will allow you to enter a monetary value directly in the Budgeted or Remaining Labor Cost field.
